Gift of Salmon

Joe Ives Sr. has been carving masks at his studio on the Port Gamble S'Klallam Tribe reservation in Kingston, WA. for over 50 years. His beautiful designs are featured in the masks and puppets and regalia used by several members of his family and neighbors helping illustrate traditional S'Klallam Salmon stories that have remained powerful messages for centuries. In this story both Mink and a Young man from long ago learn a lesson about respecting the true gift Salmon offer all Salmon Eaters to share!
